BGMEA and Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which Crowne Plaza will serve as the Hospitality Partner of BATEXPO 2026, organized by BGMEA.
Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director, BGMEA and Chief of Coordination of the BATEXPO Steering Committee, and Khondoker Zayed Ahsan, Managing Director, Crowne Plaza by IHG, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the hotel in Dhaka today. Sajedul Karim, Chairman, Standing Committee on Trade Fair & Events and Member of the Steering Committee also attended the MoU signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, international guests attending BATEXPO 2026 will be accommodated at Crowne Plaza, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience during their stay in Dhaka.
Organized by BGMEA, BATEXPO 2026 will bring together global buyers, industry leaders, policymakers, development partner, interntaional media professionals, and influencers in Dhaka. The event will provide a platform to showcase Bangladesh’s capabilities, experience innovation, foster collaboration, and create new business connections.
