BEPZA Contributes 17.03% to National Export in FY 2024–25

In FY 2024–25, BEPZA-administered 8 EPZs and BEPZA Economic Zone exported goods worth US$ 8.22 billion, marking a 16.22% growth from last year. BEPZA’s contribution to national export rose to 17.03%, reflecting our growing role in Bangladesh’s trade landscape.

Employment also saw a boost — more than 33,000 new jobs were created, raising the total to 533,527. With 33 new investment agreements signed (worth US$ 497.48 million), the future looks even brighter!
BEPZA now oversees 563 enterprises, of which 450 are operational and 113 are under implementation. Among the operational enterprises, 33% produce readymade garments, 18% garment accessories, and 9% textile products. The remaining 40% export a wide variety of goods ranging from electronics and medical equipment to furniture and fashion accessories.
