EDANA, the voice of nonwovens has elected five new members to its Board of Governors during its 2026 Annual General Meeting in Brussels, reinforcing leadership across the global nonwovens industry. The newly appointed Governors will serve a three year term from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2029, guiding the association’s strategic priorities and policy direction.

The new Board members include Giulia Antonioli of Procter & Gamble, Carles Moix Ruano of Magnera Corporation, Robert Friedline-Ellington of Kenvue, Brian Udengaard of Nitto Advanced Film Gronau GmbH and Prof. Dr. Thomas Schiele of BASF. Their expertise spans consumer goods, advanced materials, finance, research and development, global manufacturing and innovation.
EDANA represents more than 250 member companies and has supported the nonwovens industry since 1971 through sustainability initiatives, regulatory engagement, technical collaboration and market development. Global demand for nonwovens continues to expand across hygiene, medical, automotive, filtration and industrial applications, strengthening the sector’s role in advanced textile manufacturing.
