
Policy Exchange Bangladesh and Voice for Reform jointly organized a discussion session titled ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐ ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐น๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ตโ๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐บ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ, bringing together economists, experts, business leaders, and journalists.
The session was moderated by Mr. Fahim Mashroor, Co-coordinator of Voice for Reform. The keynote speaker was Dr. M Masrur Reaz, Chairman of Policy Exchange Bangladesh. In his keynote address, Dr. Reaz outlined how the ongoing Iran conflict could affect Bangladesh through three critical economic channel: energy, exports, and remittances, and explained that any prolonged instability in the region could intensify pressure on domestic prices, external trade, and overall macroeconomic stability.
Other speakers at the event also emphasized that the war centered on Iran could create serious risks for Bangladeshโs economy and public life by disrupting energy supplies, export trade, and overseas employment.
