12 New ZDHC Contributors from the Chemical and Textile Industries

As per the latest additions of ZDHC Contributors an impressive twelve new organizations have joined ZDHC community. These organizations will work alongside to spread the use of safer chemistry throughout the value chain. Their support and expertise will be invaluable in building and refining the tools that are helping the industry to transform. ZDHC extend a very warm welcome to newly enlisted organizations. The 12 New ZDHC Contributors are mentioned bellow-

Kmart Group:  The Kmart Group, comprising Kmart Australia, Target Australia, Anko International, KAS Group Asia and Catch Group, is a division of Wesfarmers and operates over 520 stores across Australia and New Zealand and employs more than 44,000 team members.

Bluesign Technologies: The bluesign® system eliminates harmful substances from the start of a manufacturing process. It also sets and controls standards for environmentally friendly, safe production. Johnstons of Elgin: Johnstons of Elgin is one of the last few vertical mills in the UK. All chemical products used in its processes are purchased from highly qualified suppliers.

Asia Pacific Rayon: Asia Pacific Rayon (APR) operates one of the biggest viscose-rayon mills in Asia with an installed production capacity of 240,000 tonnes per annum. Located in Riau, Indonesia, APR operates a fully integrated facility from plantation to viscose fibre. APR is committed to clean manufacturing, a minimal environmental footprint, and creating positive impacts on community livelihoods.

Three companies, FAST RETAILING CO LTD, ISA-Traesko GmbH and VAUDE Sport GmbH, have all made their interest in ZDHC work official. Having joined us as Friends, they will tap into ZDHC’s tools and other supports to promote their own safer chemical management.
