12 New ZDHC Contributors from the Chemical and Textile Industries

As per the latest additions of ZDHC Contributors an impressive twelve new organizations have joined ZDHC community. These organizations will work alongside to spread the use of safer chemistry throughout the value chain. Their support and expertise will be invaluable in building and refining the tools that are helping the industry to transform. ZDHC extend a very warm welcome to newly enlisted organizations. The 12 New ZDHC Contributors are mentioned bellow-

Kmart Group:  The Kmart Group, comprising Kmart Australia, Target Australia, Anko International, KAS Group Asia and Catch Group, is a division of Wesfarmers and operates over 520 stores across Australia and New Zealand and employs more than 44,000 team members.

Bluesign Technologies: The bluesign® system eliminates harmful substances from the start of a manufacturing process. It also sets and controls standards for environmentally friendly, safe production. Archroma: Archroma is a global color and specialty chemicals company headquartered in Reinach near Basel, Switzerland. It operates with 3,000 employees and 25 production sites in over 35 countries. They deliver specialized performance and color system solutions to meet customers’ needs in their local markets, touching and colouring people’s lives every day, everywhere.

RUDOLF Group: The RUDOLF Group is an international company group with a product range that includes textile auxiliaries for all stages of textile finishing processes. It also provides products for textile care and building protection.

TANATEX Chemicals: TANATEX Chemicals has proven itself to be a credible, innovative organisation for 60 years. The company is a groundbreaker in the field of textile processing solutions that range from pre-treatment to finishing, digital printing and carpet processing. Through a global network of offices, agencies and distributors, TANTATEX Chemicals brings its customers advanced quality wet processing products.

Johnstons of Elgin: Johnstons of Elgin is one of the last few vertical mills in the UK. To this day, it still carries out all processes, from raw cashmere or fine woollen fibres right through to the finished product. Johnstons of Elgin’s mills in Elgin and Hawick employ over 1,000 people, including highly skilled textile craftsmen and women.

Marzotto LAB S.R.L: Marzotto LAB S.R.L., based in Italy, this organisation part of textile Group Marzotto S.p.a. specialises in natural fibres such as cotton and linen. It also specialises in velvet and home decor. Sustainability and the environment are key issues for Marzotto LAB SRL. All chemical products used in its processes are purchased from highly qualified suppliers.

Asia Pacific Rayon: Asia Pacific Rayon (APR) operates one of the biggest viscose-rayon mills in Asia with an installed production capacity of 240,000 tonnes per annum. Located in Riau, Indonesia, APR operates a fully integrated facility from plantation to viscose fibre. APR is committed to clean manufacturing, a minimal environmental footprint, and creating positive impacts on community livelihoods.

Three companies, FAST RETAILING CO LTD, ISA-Traesko GmbH and VAUDE Sport GmbH, have all made their interest in ZDHC work official. Having joined us as Friends, they will tap into ZDHC’s tools and other supports to promote their own safer chemical management.
