4 Bangladeshi Companies Showcase Nation’s Textile Strength at Shanghai Apparel & Yarn Expo 2025

Bangladesh continued its strong presence at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Autumn 2025, one of the world’s largest and most influential textile events. The exhibition, held from 02–04 September at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, brought together leading global textile manufacturers, buyers, and industry professionals.

This year, four Bangladeshi companies represented the nation’s textile sector: Square Textiles PLC, Amanat Shah Fabrics Ltd., M/S AH Traders, and Nur Trading Corporation. They showcased high-quality textile products, drawing significant interest from international buyers and stakeholders.

The event featured specialized product zones and country pavilions, creating opportunities for exhibitors to connect with the right partners and explore new markets. A representative from the Bangladesh Consulate in Shanghai visited the exhibition, praised the efforts of the Bangladeshi participants, and encouraged more companies to join future editions of the fair.

Industry Reactions

“We are delighted to have participated in Yarn Expo by Messe Frankfurt, held from 2–4 September. It was truly a remarkable experience, receiving overwhelming responses and interest from partners and visitors across the globe. This exposure has opened new doors of opportunity, and we are optimistic about building strong business relationships in the coming days,” said Luthfor Rahman Munna, Sr. Manager (Marketing), Square Textiles PLC.

Square Textiles expressed gratitude to all visitors, partners, and organizers, emphasizing that the fair offered an excellent platform to connect with global buyers and explore new markets for Bangladeshi textiles. “The fair is going outstandingly well. We are very happy to be here. Thank you!” added Rabi from Amanat Shah Fabrics Ltd., highlighting that the company has consistently benefited from the fair over the years and considers it a valuable hub for expanding business opportunities and strengthening international networks.
