40 Years of Excellence: Celebrating CHT China’s Legacy and Future

CHT China celebrated its 40th anniversary on February 5, 2026 in Guangzhou – a milestone that highlights four decades of market growth, customer proximity, and technological leadership in one of CHT Group’s most important regions. More than 80 guests, including CEO Eva Baumann, the China leadership team, and colleagues from key sites, joined to mark this moment.

In their remarks, Eva Baumann and the China leadership emphasized CHT China’s strategic role within the Group: expanding innovation capabilities, strengthening collaboration across sites, and driving customer-focused development in a highly competitive environment. The anniversary underlined CHT’s ambition to further accelerate growth through partnership, operational excellence, and sustainable solutions tailored to the Chinese market.

Awards for long-serving employees and outstanding performances, as well as a breathtaking traditional lion dance, rounded out the celebrations, symbolizing dedication, continuity, and forward momentum.

Rather than simply marking an anniversary, this milestone reinforces CHT China’s long-standing commitment to innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. As we move into the next chapter, we remain focused on advancing solutions, strengthening partnerships, and creating sustainable value for our customers in the region.
