4A Yarn Limited become the Champion of NIPOSH project.

NIPOSH stands for Network to Integrate Productivity and Occupational Safety and Health Improvements. The purpose of this project is to develop a sustainable and locally anchored network model for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and product development with lean tools, which stakeholders in Bangladesh can maintain in the future. BGMEA partnered with Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Southern Denmark University (SDU), and The Royal Danish Embassy of Bangladesh in a strategic cooperation to implement this project in the garments industries in Bangladesh. The total project duration was 2 years, which includes 20 months for networking and 3 months for sustainability assessment. Total of 25 reputed RMG industries took part in the program. Among them, 4A YDL has been achieved 91 marks out of 100 and awarded as CHAMPION.

BGMEA President Faruque Hassan, Ms. Winnie Estrup Petersen, Ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh, attended the ceremony as the guest of honor while Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-chancellor of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST); Professor Peter Hasle, University of Southern Denmark, Søren Albertsen, Sector Counsellor, Danish Embassy; Abdullah Hil Rakib, Director of BGMEA; Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu), Director of BGMEA; and S.M Khaled, Chair of BGMEA Standing Committee on Industrial Engineering were present as special guests in this program.
