6th Bangladesh Denim Expo boosted Denim Network

Bangladesh Denim Expo has been organized by Mr. Mostafiz Uddin, Managing Director of Denim Expert Ltd. The Expo’s objective is to showcase Bangladesh’s growth potential in the denim industry. Highlighting the importance of developing business relationships and promoting best working practices, the sixth edition Bangladesh Denim Expo started on 17 May at the International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka. The theme of the 2-day expo has set ‘Denim Networks’.

The organizers said that ten thousand visitors had registered online to visit the expo. And they get a big crowd better than their expectation. A total of four informative seminars and workshops on trends, innovation & new technologies, global denim market and quality assurance are also being held at the expo on 17 & 18 May.

Seminar-01:

1st seminar titled “From ideas to Technology, discovering a new age for Garment Finishing”. The seminar focused on new trends in finishing, Embracing culture, Economic, Ecological and Technical consideration. Seminar speaker were Mrs. Alice Tonello, R&D Manager, Tonello Garment Finishing and Mr. Piero Turk, World Renowned Denim Designer.

2nd seminar titled “Autumn Winter 2018/19 Trend Seminar”. The seminar was conducted by WGSN. An extensive presentation covered the mood board, key looks and silhouettes for women and men, color, fit, construction, wash and trim directions identified for four main mega trends.

3rd seminar was by Garmon S.P.A Seminar. Seminar speaker was Marco Nava, Global Sales Director.

Seminar-04:seminar-44th Seminar was on “Total Quality Assurance: Holistic Approcah for Business Excellence.” The seminar was conducted by Dr. Karthik ND, Country Managing Director, Intertek Bangladesh.

18491365_1937695836466426_2013975018980510948_oThe ‘Trend Zone’ area, the unique space dedicated to showcase the latest denim trends and innovative products, has been expanded in this edition by incorporating a new ‘Information Exchange Zone’ where visitors have been able to gain insights on denim fabrics, styling and finishing available in Bangladesh, together with an offer of the most relevant denim publication. Visitors of all levels expressed their satisfaction regarding exhibition. Such organize exhibitions will help to attract the foreign buyers interest. Bangladesh is passing a very golden age of Denim revelation. Exhibitors expects they will get more orders after the exhibitions as they have already noted so many queries.
