Nearly 70 VDMA member companies are set to showcase their technologies at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025, taking place in Singapore at the end of October. Collectively, the exhibitors will represent the entire textile machinery spectrum, from spinning, man-made fibres and nonwovens to weaving, braiding, knitting, warp knitting, finishing, dyeing, recycling and processing of recycled materials.

VDMA has also organised a German Pavilion, featuring two dedicated group stands — spinning (Hall 4) and finishing (Hall 7) — with 30 exhibitors demonstrating advanced machinery and solutions.
“Our members’ key focus areas are efficiency, automation, digitalisation and sustainability. Customers can rely on VDMA members for innovative and sustainable solutions with low environmental impact and high-quality European machinery,” said Dr. Janpeter Horn, Chairman of the VDMA Textile Machinery Association and Managing Director, August Herzog Maschinenfabrik.
“We are delighted to return to Singapore after 20 years. With its central location and excellent connectivity, Singapore is the perfect hub to reach customers from Asia — the world’s fastest-growing textile and garment production region,” added Dr. Harald Weber, Managing Director, VDMA Textile Machinery.
Asia continues to be the largest market for German textile machinery, accounting for nearly half of its exports. While exports to Asia dipped in 2024, shipments stabilised in the first half of 2025 with China, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan recording notable growth.
