70th meeting of the Governing Body (GB) of the NITER held

On October 5, 2024, the 70th meeting of the Governing Body (GB) of the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) was held at BTMA’s Gulshan office. The meeting was presided over Mr. Showkat Aziz Russell President of BTMA and Chairman of the (GB) of NITER.

Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun and Mr. Hossain Mehmud, members of the Governing Body of NITER and Director of BTMA, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Dhaka University, Prof. Dr. Upoma Kabir, Professor Dr. AHM Asadul Haque, Dr. Shah Md. Masum of DU, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Textiles and Jute Mr. Md. Zillur Rahman, Director of BTMC Hawladar Md. Rakibul Bari, Kazi Feroz Hossain, GM, BTMC, Director of the NITER Professor Dr. Md. Jonayebur Rashid were present. Secretary General BTMA, Brigadier General(rtd.)Md.Zakir Hossain was present as a special invitee.

GB Members greeted newly appointed Chairman, GB, NITER Mr. Showkat Aziz Russell with a flower bouquet. Chairman, GB,NITER Mr. Showkat Aziz Russell also greeted Prof. Dr. Upoma Kabir with a flower bouquet on the occasion of the first GB Meeting after the GB was reconstituted.

At the end Chairman, GB along with other members presented a flower bouquet to the outgoing Director of NITER Professor Dr. Md. Jonayebur Rashid.
