Textile Engineering College Noakhali Alumni Association (TECNAA) organized a grand Iftar and Doa Mahfil on 24 May at Palwel Carnetion Center in the capital.
Engr. Shafiqur Rahman, President, The Institute of Textile Engineers and Technologist (ITET) was present as chief guest at the mega event. Muhammad Salim Reza, Senior Vice President, ITET, Masood Dawood Akbani, Managing Director, ACS Textile (BD) Ltd., Shahriar Taha, Managing Director, Remex Corporation Ltd. and Engr. Zahurul Haque Rabbani, Ex Principal, Textile Engineering College, Noakhali were present as special guest. Engr. A K M Fazlul Haque, Principal, Textile Engineering College, Noakhali presided over the crowd. TECNAA members who are working in different segments of textile industries, running students of TECN, TECNAA leaders were present at the Iftar and Doa Mahfil.
TECNAA members expressed their happiness to join at the gathering. Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman highlighted the significance of the ITET for unity of industry and notified that ITET wants to go forward accompanied by the others alumni like TECNAA. He also thanked TECNAA as the pioneer among other textile colleges in accumulating and submitting the ITET membership forms.
Hriday Hira, President of TECNAA thanked all the guests and focused on the internship opportunities and job openings of the outgoing engineers sufficiently by the association and the textile personnel.
Usually, TECNAA organizes grand Iftar party and Doa Mahfil for its members every year. TECNAA is steering organization of all graduated students from Textile Engineering College, Noakhali. It’s started its journey from 10th July 2015 and got acknowledgement on 26 March 2017 through a general election.
