The Africa Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF) successfully hosted the Africa Bangladesh Business Summit 2026 at Gulshan Club, Dhaka, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, exporters, investors, diplomats, policymakers, and members of the African community to explore new opportunities for trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Africa.
In his welcome address, Mr. Zahirul Haq, Founder and President of ABBF, highlighted Africa’s growing economic potential and emphasized the importance of stronger commercial engagement between Bangladesh and African countries.
The summit featured discussions on trade facilitation, investment opportunities, market access, industrial cooperation, logistics, manufacturing, technology, and cross-border business partnerships.
ABBF highlighted its growing presence across 15 African countries, internship opportunities for African students studying in Bangladesh, and its partnership with Kingmansa, a Canadian AI-powered B2B marketplace connecting verified exporters and importers worldwide.
During the event, ABBF also announced the upcoming Africa Bangladesh Trade Show & Business Summit 2026, scheduled for 6–7 August 2026 at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. The event will feature an international trade exhibition, B2B matchmaking, investment forum, industry discussions, and networking opportunities.
