Desk Report: Akhter Hossain Apurbo, Vice President of BKMEA and Director, Wisdom Attires Ltd has been honoured as ‘Commercially Important Person’ (CIP) by the Bangladeshi government for his outstanding contributions to the country’s economy.
He received the award from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr A K Abdul Momen at a ceremony held at BICC of Dhaka on Saturday. Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmad presided over the meeting.
He achieved the CIP status last 2017. His company Four Square Resources SDN is working to expand Bangladesh’s Knit garment in Malaysia. market Four Square is a well established knitwear brand in Malaysia.
Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Anisul Islam Mahmud was also present on this occasion.
