Akshar’s new president Redwan, general secretary Aniruddha and literature and Bunon editor Rowshan

The new Executive Committee of Akkhor, the literary and cultural organization of Textile Engineering College, Noakhali (TECN), has been officially approved for the 2026–27 session. Members of the organization, both current and former, have expressed optimism that the newly formed committee will further strengthen literary, cultural, and creative activities on campus.

The committee will be led by Shah Md. Redwan Tarek as President. Anuruddha Barua has been elected as General Secretary, while Rowshon Jamil Chowdhury will serve as the Literary, Bunon & Wall Magazine Editor.

The Vice Presidents are Tapu Das (Creative Affairs) and Abdur Rahman Sadid (Administration). Md. Murad Hasan has been appointed as Assistant General Secretary. The positions of Organizational Secretary will be jointly held by Shorov Kanti Das and Niaz Uddin Abir, while Partha Prateem Dey has been named Literary, Bunon & Wall Magazine Sub-Editor.

The remaining members of the executive committee include Md. Oahad Azgor Mahin as Financial Secretary, Nure Hasnat as Assistant Financial Secretary, Sudipta Chakraborty as Event Coordination Secretary, Mohammed Shahriar Noor Mahi as Media & Publication Secretary, Sheikh Ashfakuzzaman Nur Tahaf as Office Secretary, and Jawad Ul Haque as Assistant Office Secretary.

Congratulating the newly elected committee, the organization said it hopes the new leadership will transform Akkhor into an even more vibrant platform for literature, culture, and creative expression. It also expressed the expectation that every initiative undertaken by the organization would promote the beauty of art and literature while inspiring humanity, harmony, and creativity among students.

The organization further stated that with fresh ideas, innovative initiatives, and sincere dedication, Akkhor would continue to uphold its long-standing traditions and unique identity while making an even greater contribution to the campus’s cultural landscape. Well-wishers have extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all members of the newly formed committee, expressing confidence in their successful journey ahead.

Former President Amit Chowdhury said, “We remain uncompromising in preserving the rich heritage of our cultural tradition. I am confident that the new committee will utilize its creativity and capabilities to the fullest and accomplish remarkable achievements.”

Carrying forward its long-standing motto, “The Signature of Ekushey, the Spirit of Akkhor,” the newly formed committee is expected to usher in a new chapter for the organization and further enrich the literary and cultural environment of Textile Engineering College, Noakhali.
