Amanat Shah Fabrics Ltd. Launches Fashion Week to Strengthen Global Market Positioning

Amanat Shah Fabrics Ltd.(ASFL), a USGBC LEED Platinum Certified company, officially launched its first fashion-focused exhibition, “Amanat Shah Fabrics Fashion Week – 01,” aimed at strengthening the country’s global market positioning and showcasing innovation in fabric development.

The three-day exhibition (16th–18th February 2026), held at Trend Atelier in Baridhara DOHS in Dhaka, brought together international buyers, designers, and industry professionals to explore emerging textile trends and advanced manufacturing capabilities. Organized by the Amanat Shah Group, the event reflects the growing ambition of Bangladesh to strengthen its presence in high-value global textile markets.

Throughout the event, visitors experienced a wide-ranging display of fabric innovations aligned with Spring/Summer 2027 trends. Around 450 fabric varieties were showcased, demonstrating the creativity, diversity, and technological advancement of local textile production. The exhibition emphasized alignment with global market preferences, including evolving color directions, textures, and sustainability expectations.

Key highlights included cutwork embroidery, modern reinterpretations of corduroy, breathable, lightweight summer fabrics, placement prints, and environmentally responsible textile solutions developed to support sustainable manufacturing practices.

The fashion week also served as a strategic platform for international buyers and brand representatives to review samples, discuss sourcing opportunities, and explore long-term collaboration. Organizers confirmed their intention to make the event biannual, ensuring continuous engagement with global trends and market demands.

Speaking at the event, Director Rezaul Karim said the initiative represents a major step forward for the country’s textile sector. “This platform demonstrates that Bangladesh is ready to lead with innovation, sustainability, and trend-driven development. We are confident such initiatives will strengthen global partnerships and open new opportunities for long-term industry growth,” he said.

Founded in 2017, Amanat Shah Fabrics Limited is a 100% export-oriented woven fabric manufacturer serving major international brands and fashion houses. Known for its commitment to quality, advanced technology, and sustainable raw materials, the company continues to position itself as a competitive global supplier.

Industry observers view the launch of the fashion week as a significant step toward elevating Bangladesh’s position in global textile value chains, shifting from volume-based production toward design-led, innovation-driven growth.
