amazonAccording to CNBC, Amazon has replaced Walmart as the largest clothing retailer in the United States. According to a Wells Fargo analyst, Amazan will sell about $41 billion in apparel and footwear in 2020, accounting for 11-12 percent of all clothing sold in the United States. Amazon’s clothing revenues rose by 20% over Walmart’s last year, and the online retailer is forecast to sell more than $45 billion in apparel and footwear this year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when many Americans stopped shopping indoors, Amazon saw the best e-commerce development in three years. Due to businesses moving to work-from-home models, the company’s web services saw significant growth last year.

In recent years, Walmart, on the other hand, has launched new clothing labels and collaborated with fashion designers to increase sales. The store recently expanded its sportswear offerings and collaborated with a fashion designer who dressed Michelle Obama.
