The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) held its annual Networking Evening, followed by Iftar, on Wednesday at Sheraton Banani.

The event was attended by Lieutenant General (Retd.) Abdul Hafiz, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on Defense and National Solidarity Development. along with Megan Bouldin, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Dhaka among other senior officials.
The gathering drew notable figures from various government bodies, including Chief Advisor’s Office, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).
AmCham’s President, Syed Ershad Ahmed, along with Treasurer Al-Mamun M. Rashel and Executive Committee Members warmly welcomed the guests in a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
Prominent organizations supported the event, including Abdul Monem Ltd., Avery Dennison Bangladesh, Chevron Bangladesh, Citibank, Conveyor Logistics Ltd., Corteva Agriscience Bangladesh, Excelerate Energy Bangladesh Ltd.

AmCham has played a vital role for nearly 30 years facilitating dialogue between the U.S. business community and the Bangladeshi government. The Networking Evening reinforced its commitment to promoting investment, innovation, and sustainable growth in Bangladesh, positioning the country as a leading investment destination in South Asia.
