Ananta Garments and Sportswear Ltd achieves LEED Platinum Certification

Desk Report: Bangladesh based one of the largest apparel exporter Ananta Garments Ltd & Ananta Sportswear Ltd achieved certification of Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED V4.1) for existing building design by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in consultation with Innowell Engineering International Pvt Ltd.

Ananta achieved 89 points (Platinum) in the LEED 4.1 category which is the highest in Bangladesh.

The Chairman of Ananta Companies Mr. Aminul Haq Khan, Managing Director Mr. Inamul Haq Khan, and the Deputy Managing Director Mr. M Sajedul Karim received the certificate recently at it’s corporate Office in the capital.

Now Bangladesh has 50 top factories of the top 100 industrial projects of the world. Bangladesh is the global leader having the highest number of green garment buildings, where 63 are platinum rated, 110 gold rated, 10 silver, and four have no rating.
