Desk Report: One of the largest RMG manufacturing unit  STANDARD GROUP recently appointed Anwar Hossain as the CEO of the Group. Dynamic leader Mr. Anwar Hossain brings into the Group, more than 20 years of exposure in many organizations.

Mr. Anwar Hossain was the  former Vice President ,LI & Fung, and Former Merchandising Director, Standard group. He has long experience in supply chain management and wholesale business for US market and majorly sourced apparel from Bangladesh. Also opened some business opportunity for leather products once he worked Li& Fung .

On November 4, 2021, STANDARD GROUP started their journey to a new horizon as officially it will run some of it’s clusters by 2nd generation in the capital.

Standard Group established in 1984, is one of the longest running garment manufacturing companies in Bangladesh. Over the years, the company has grown substantially in both size and customer base.

It has one of the largest woven garment manufacturing facilities in Bangladesh including sweater production facility. In addition, the company has its own in house garment washing, printing, embroidery, apparel design, garment testing and various accessories production facilities. Standard Group has one of the most comprehensive and technical manufacturing system in the country.
