Desk Report: Anwar Textile, a prominent concern of the Anwar Group of Industries, has organized an enlightening exhibition named “Mill Week.” The event aims to propel the country’s textile sector into the global market by focusing on sustainable products and increasing exports.

The two-day-long expo commenced at the Uttara, Abdullahpur, Bangladesh Showroom 2: A-218/B in the capital and is set to continue until February 28, welcoming visitors between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm. Anwar Textile’s Mill Week promises to be an engaging showcase of their latest fabric collections, with a special emphasis on 100% sustainable products that are both environmentally friendly and comfortable to wear.
Faizah Mehmood, the Director of Business Development at Anwar Group of Industries Ltd., stated, “Since our inception in the textiles industry, we have vertically integrated our production process and expanded our facilities to continually diversify our product range and explore the newness and demand of our valued customers.”

The first edition of the fair saw the exhibition of new fabrics developed by Anwar Textile’s research and development team. This time around, the focus is on sustainable fibers, with Hossain Dyeing & Printing Mills Ltd., a 100 percent export-oriented vertically integrated production facility of Anwar Group of Industries, introducing Cotton, Tencel, Linen, Cotton Stretch, Modal, hemp, recycle cotton, and other sustainable fibers to produce innovative and eco-friendly fabrics.
