AOPTB holds webinar “Digital Textile Printing of Bangladesh and its prospects”

Desk Report: AOPTB (All Over Printing Technologists of Bangladesh) arranged a webinar –Digital Textile Printing of Bangladesh and its prospects held on 7 January 2022 which was live telecast by AOPTB.

Honorable Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Textile University Engr Prof. M A Kashem (Former Chairman of Technical Education Board of Bangladesh) was Present as a Chief guest. Engr.Ashraful Alam,,Director Printing, Mosarrof Group was delivered his valuable speech as a Keynote Speaker. Engr.S.M.Abdur Rahman, President AOPTB, Presided Over the Seminar.

More than 30 Printing technologists from renewed printing factories were [participated the online webinar. Engr Syed Atiqur Rahman, general Secretary,TED,IEB; Engr.Andus Shahid ,former head TE Dept ,DUET; Engr.Solaiman Bari, Pabna Textile Engineering College; Engr.Ali Azam Rokon,Principal, Textile Engineering College, Chittagong ; Shawkat Hossain Sohel;,General Secteray AOPTB, Manager,(CAD), Unifill Composite Dyeing Mills Ltd .Engr.Abu Sayed Kiron, Joint General Secretary, AOPTB,DGM,  Anwar Group delivered speech in this seminar.

In this seminar speakers say’s , Printing is a art  and most of the brands are focusing on sustainable products with digital.   Digital AOP is eco-friendly, cost-effective, and higher productivity. Currently  digital textile printing is rising in acceptance for designers opting for a more environmentally aware process compared to many of the other traditional printing.

According to European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA),global textile printing market is expected to be worth $266.38 billion by 2027. Many  renewed companies  have digital printing units. Speakers expected , Digital All Over Printing  added a new dimension to the textile industry of Bangladesh.
