This achievement underscores Aptech Group’s unwavering commitment to creating a greener, healthier future for generations to come.
Gunasekaran Raju, WELL AP, Managing Director of INNOWELLl Group handed over the certificates and LEED Plaques to the Aptech Management Team as Honorable Guest on Sunday. NCC Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Samsul Arifin, Deputy Managing Director Mahbub Alam and senior officials, Bank Asia senior officials and Prime Bank EVP and Unit head were present.
In this certification, Bigg Boss Corporation Ltd. got a score of 88 and Aptech Cashwar Ltd. got a score of 86. The factory achieves these certificates based on the score of water saving, electricity-saving, proper waste management, increase in renewable energy, water conservation and use, green plants etc.
\In his speech, Syed Rezaul Hossain Kazi, Managing Director, Aptech Group said that receiving the LEED Platinum certifications is a significant achievement for Aptech Group and it reflects its ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. LEED is part of sustainability, especially for our upcoming generation’s livelihood. As a social responsibility we are doing many sustainable practices, he added The Bangladesh government has tried to support green clothing makers. Our global buyers should pay the right price for green initiatives, he added.

Currently, Bangladesh has strengthened its position as the global leader in green environmentally-friendly apparel factories, with 220 Leed Green Factories, including 84 Platinum-rated, 122 Gold-rated, 10 Silver-rated, and four certified factories.
