Astronergy, a leading global solar technology company under CHINT Group, successfully hosted a major renewable energy event in Dhaka, bringing together around 200 stakeholders and business leaders from across Bangladesh’s renewable energy ecosystem. The event brought together representatives from EPC companies, project developers, investors, distributors, BSREA, SREDA, PDB, BUET, policymakers and other key renewable energy stakeholders, creating an important platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing toward Bangladesh’s clean energy transition.
A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of ASTRO N7 Pro, Astronergy’s latest advanced solar module technology. Astronergy’s technical team from its global headquarters presented the newest technological developments, module innovations and solutions designed to support the evolving requirements of utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), and other renewable energy projects. Representing Astronergy, Mr. David Zhang, APAC Head, Mr. Md. Hasib, Bangladesh Country Manager, together with the company’s technical experts from its headquarters, shared insights into the latest advancements in solar technology and the opportunities they can create for Bangladesh’s rapidly developing renewable energy sector.
The new technology is expected to contribute to improved solar project performance, reliability and long-term value, while supporting Bangladesh in accelerating its transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. Another significant milestone of the event was the signing of a 70 MWp distribution agreement between Astronergy and M/S Genetic Renewable Energy Co. The agreement reflects the growing demand for advanced, high-quality solar modules in Bangladesh and strengthens Astronergy’s commitment to developing a reliable and sustainable distribution network in the country.
Strategic Partnership and Project Excellence Recognized
During the event, Astronergy recognized outstanding partners and project achievements across Bangladesh’s solar industry. Strategic Partnership Awards were presented to selected EPC partners in recognition of their contribution to the growth and development of Bangladesh’s renewable energy sector.
Astronergy also presented Best Project Awards in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment to leading organizations for their successful implementation and contribution to solar energy adoption, including:

In addition, Genetic Renewable Energy Co. received the Best Distribution Award in recognition of its strong contribution to Astronergy’s market development and distribution activities in Bangladesh.
