At BTKG, we are focusing on our latest dyeing and drying technologies developed for modern dyehouses
Zafer Demirel, International Sales Manager, WEST GLOBAL
Textile Focus: How do you see the current scenario of the textile sector?
Zafer Demirel: The global textile industry is going through a transformation driven by sustainability, cost pressure, and the need for efficiency. Today, producers are no longer only focused on capacity — they are focused on reducing water, energy, and chemical consumption while maintaining consistent quality.
In this environment, technologies that provide low liquor ratios, stable dyeing performance, and process optimization are becoming essential rather than optional. We believe the future belongs to manufacturers who invest in smart, efficient, and environmentally responsible production systems.
Textile Focus: What are the latest innovations you are showcasing at the Bangladesh Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition?
Zafer Demirel: At BTKG, we are focusing on our latest dyeing and drying technologies developed for modern dyehouses.
Our key highlights include:
• ECO-JET PRO – designed for low liquor ratio dyeing (down to 1:5 at the Bangladesh Market) with significant water and energy savings
• WEST-AIR – our advanced air-flow dyeing technology, offering stable fabric movement and reduced process time
• WESTDRY – a combined solution for free and equalized drying, ensuring energy efficiency and fabric quality
These technologies are not just new machines — they are part of our vision to deliver 3rd-generation dyeing solutions focused on sustainability, efficiency, and long-term performance.
Textile Focus: How do you see the Bangladesh market, and what is your future plan?
Zafer Demirel: Bangladesh is one of the most dynamic and strategic textile markets in the world. With its strong export base and continuous investments, the country is clearly moving towards higher efficiency and more sustainable production standards.
For us, Bangladesh is not a new market —it is a market where we have built strong experience over many years. In the last year alone, we have achieved significant growth with 40+ machines in the market, and we continue to expand our presence.
Our future plan is clear:
• Strengthen our local partnerships
• Increase installed machine base
• Support customers with efficient and reliable technologies
Because at WEST GLOBAL, our story is old, but our brand is new — and our focus is the future.
