Textile Focus: What will you be presenting at ITMA Asia?

Zafer Demirel: At ITMA Asia, WEST GLOBAL will highlight its next-generation air-flow dyeing machine (WEST-AIR) and low-liquor ratio jet dyeing machine (ECO-JET PRO) — two powerful solutions that meet today’s sustainability and efficiency expectations.

We will also promote our high-performance relax drying machine, WESTDRY, which provides excellent results in both equalizing and moisture control after dyeing.

This exhibition marks an important moment in our global repositioning journey under the motto “Our story is old, but our brand is new.” Although the WEST GLOBAL name is relatively new, our experience and know-how date back over two decades, and ITMA Asia will be a showcase of this engineering heritage.

Textile Focus: What are the key products that help reduce production costs in dyeing and finishing?

Zafer Demirel: At WEST GLOBAL, we focus on delivering solutions that reduce water, energy, and chemical consumption, while increasing productivity and operational stability.

Key systems that help reduce costs include:
•ECO-JET PRO: Operates with liquor ratios as low as 1:5, providing significant water and chemical savings compared to traditional jet dyeing machines.
•WESTDRY: Combines relaxation and open-width drying in one machine. Reduces drying time and steam consumption, with flexible capacity ranges.
•Semi-automatic lint filter system: Minimizes operator intervention, reduces machine downtime, and improves maintenance efficiency.
•Upgraded automation software: Ensures consistent process control, reduces human error, and simplifies recipe management.
•Modular machine design: Allows us to tailor each configuration according to space constraints and production goals, maximising ROI.

These solutions are especially valuable for high-volume producers in Bangladesh, where operational efficiency directly impacts profitability.

Textile Focus: How do you see the Bangladesh market?

Zafer Demirel: Bangladesh is not only a major production hub but also a responsive and forward-looking market. For WEST GLOBAL, it represents a long-term strategic region built on trust, service, and partnership.

Although our brand was formally established in 2022, our team has over 20 years of operational and technical experience in the Bangladeshi textile sector.

Over the years:
•We’ve delivered custom-engineered solutions for a wide range of dyehouses — including high-tonnage operations
•We’ve offered more than just machines: process know-how, engineering design, after-sales service, and operator training have all been part of our commitment
•We’ve built strong local relationships by listening carefully to customer needs and adapting our machines to their real production environments

One of our strongest advantages is our sales and technical team, which has become well-known and trusted across Bangladesh for its field presence and solution-driven approach.
We understand local production challenges, investment dynamics, and sustainability expectations — and we design our offerings accordingly.

In short, Bangladesh is not just a market for us — it’s a strategic environment where we aim to grow together with our partners, by combining innovation with long-term reliability.
