The election-centered coalition of the board of directors of the export-oriented textile engineers ‘ association ATET’s new President, Engr. S.M Shohel Rana, Managing Director of Denim Solution Ltd. organized an open discussion on the upcoming challenges and actions in the Textile industry. textile engineers who are also members of ATET participated in the event organized at the Golf Club in Dhaka. The matter was informed in a press release of the ATET on Monday 29 April.
As there is no other candidate for President, S.M. Shohel Rana, Managing Director of Denim Solution Ltd going to be elected president of ATET for the 2024-26 session. S.M Shohel Raha has been serving ATET for a long time in different posts i.e. Secretary General (2020-2023); Organizing Secretary (2018-2020); Treasurer (2014-2018).
According to the discussion, general members spoke at this event organized differently and they expressed their opinions. The organization holds this meeting given the upcoming elections of ATET. ATET election candidates and members raised many issues including ATET’s land and set-up Building, Membership increase, etc.
ATET next President presented his vision and mission on each topic. He said that ATET should work in the interest of the members. In the upcoming elections of ATET, he urged everyone to trust the whole panel and said that the ATET is a unique platform to protect the interests of the members by facing any challenge. Engr S.M Sohel Rana urged all the voters to elect his full panel and said, “I want to express my gratitude to the wider textile community for supporting me as the first time going to the candidate, President of ATET. ATET is a national association for the Textile Engineers and Technologists of Bangladesh. ATET has been working for the progress of the Textile Engineers who are the core of the Textile Industry since 2012.”
ATET election is going to be held on 1 May at sector 6 Uttara in Dhaka. ATET has been working for the professionals of the textile industry. ATET organizes different events related to the textile engineers and textile industry. ATET works for all textile engineers to make them highly skilled and maintain a high standard of unity, and mutual co-operation.
