Recently department of textile engineering, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) celebrated the 20th anniversary by an event “TEXPLORE” organized by AUST Textile Society. AUST is offering quality textile education from the very beginning. The event was started with a documentary of 20 years of textile education excellence.
Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, President, ITET& Managing Director of HAMS Group of Industries was present as chief guest while Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, Pro Vice-Chancellor (in charge) and Treasurer, AUST; Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahim Mollah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, DTE, AUST were present as special guest. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral, President, AUST Textile Society and Head, DTE, AUST.
Presentation on ‘Industrial Leadership’ by Md. Asaduzzaman, Head of Supply chain, FCI (BD) group & presentation on ‘CPB in Knit Dyeing’ by Engr. Badruddin Ahmed Rahi, CEO of Trade Rayand Textile Technology werepresented. Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, President, ITET advised the student to be skilled with technological advancement so that they can add value to the industry. For this the students need to be attached with the industry and technology, he added.
Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, DTE, AUST told the students to be ready to face the forth industrial revolution and overcome. Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral, President, AUST Textile Society and Head, DTE, AUST thanks everyone for such arrangement. The program comes to end with an appreciation award to Engr. Badruddin Ahmed Rahiand gracious cultural event by current students of textile engineering department.
