AUST Textile Alumni Association organizes grand Iftar Mahfil at AUST

On 6 March 2026, AUST Textile Alumni Association (AUSTTA) arranged a significant Iftar Mahfil to remember the month of Ramadan together with fellow alumni members, present faculty members and families at the premises of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST).

About 400 attendees from Batch 1 to Batch 43 participated in the event. The attendance of experts from the Textile Engineering Department of AUST made this event more significant for the alumni circle.

The Iftar Mahfil provided a festive ambiance where alumni across batches reunited, reminiscing about sweet memories and reconnecting with each other. It was a great time for them to break their fast together and discuss how the alumni association could develop in future.

An array of topics, including new initiatives, joint efforts and strengthening the association’s participation towards adding value to the Bangladesh textile sector, also came under reference during the Iftar Mahfil program.

AUSTTA , over the years, became one of the most vibrant and best-connected textile alumni communities in Bangladesh, with a special bond among its members, along with their respect towards seniors and welcoming nature for junior graduates.

The program ended on a positive note, and the members expressed their hopes that AUSTTA will continue to undertake meaningful initiatives for the alumni community as well as for the Bangladeshi textile industry as a whole.
