Bangladesh has made significant strides in sustainability, achieving 36 LEED-certified factories in 2025

Bangladesh has made significant strides in sustainability, achieving 36 LEED-certified factories in 2025, the highest number in a single year, surpassing the previous record of 30 set in 2022. Notably, the country also secured the highest platinum certification with 22 factories achieving this status in the same year.

Currently, Bangladesh has a total of 268 LEED-certified factories, which include 114 Platinum and 135 Gold certified facilities. Furthermore, Bangladesh is proud to have 68 out of the top 100 highest-rated LEED-certified factories globally. This progress highlights the country’s commitment to sustainable practices in the manufacturing sector.
