As per the Export promotion bureau of Bangladesh, during the July–June period of FY 2025–26, the sector recorded total exports of USD 38.70 billion, reflecting a -1.64% decline compared to USD 39.35 billion in the corresponding period of FY 2024–25.
On a year-on-year basis, Bangladesh apparel exports experienced an increase of 21.52%, Increasing from USD 2.79 billion in June 2025 to USD 3.39 billion in June 2026. Within this contraction, the Knitwear sector increase to USD 1.84 billion, representing a 19.49% increase compared to the corresponding year, while the Woven wear sector increases to USD 1.55 billion with a 24.02% increase year-over-year.
