img_1974Recently Textile Focus and Redcarpet 365 Ltd. organized a panel discussion on “Sustainability in Textile Industry- Reality & Challenges” at International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka. In that panel discussion session panel members were Mr. Faruque Hassan, Senior Vice President, BGMEA; Engr. Shafiqur Rahman, President, ITET; Muhammad Hatem, Former 1st Vice President, BKMEA; Muhammad Forhad Hossain, Managing Director, BTE; Chandima Punyawardana, Director, Redox Chemical Industries Ltd. The panel discussion was moderated by M A Islam Riyadh, Editor, Textile Focus. Maeen Md. Khairul Akter, Managing Editor, Textile Focus presented the key note. Panel members emphasized on sustainability in textile industry. They also shared their experience and observation on sustainability issue in textile industry. They mentioned that we have done a remarkable development in textile industry but we need to move forward to compete with this competitive global textile market.
