Bangladesh Textile Printing Forum Highlights Innovations in Textile Printing and Promotes ITCPE 2026

Textile Focus successfully managed the Bangladesh Textile Printing Forum with the support of Allallinfo Group, China, bringing together approximately 120 participants representing textile printing factories, buying houses, suppliers, traders, and technology providers at Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort. The forum served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, technology presentation, and industry dialogue focusing on the present and future of Bangladesh’s textile printing sector.

The event officially began with a welcome speech by Mohammad Ashraful Islam, Editor of Textile Focus.

In his address, he thanked the speakers, and participants for their presence and support. He emphasized that Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry is at a critical stage where innovation, sustainability, and efficiency are no longer optional but essential. He highlighted the role of Textile Focus as an industry knowledge platform, stating that such forums aim to bridge the gap between global technology providers and local manufacturers. He also stressed that international collaboration, particularly with Chinese technology leaders, can significantly contribute to the modernization and competitiveness of Bangladesh’s textile printing industry.

Huang Zhongyu, representing CAIYUN Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., delivered an in-depth presentation on Comprehensive Solutions and the Introduction of New Technology for Water-Based Printing. He discussed the increasing global demand for environmentally friendly printing solutions and explained how water-based printing technologies can help factories reduce environmental impact while maintaining high color quality and durability. He also highlighted compliance advantages and cost-efficiency over time, encouraging Bangladeshi printers to adopt sustainable chemical solutions.

Following this, Abu Sayem, General Manager of Tropical Knitex, spoke on the current scenario of the Bangladesh textile printing industry. He shared practical insights from an operational perspective, discussing challenges such as rising production costs, pressure from international buyers, skill gaps, and the need for technological upgrades. He emphasized that survival and growth in the competitive global market depend on improving productivity, ensuring consistent quality, and adopting modern printing technologies.

Li Tao from Zhongshan Tianqi Printing Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. presented a detailed session titled “Move Beyond Traditional Inefficiency: Multiple Advantages of Tianqi Intelligent Printing Equipment”. He explained how intelligent automation, smart controls, and advanced equipment design can significantly reduce production time, labor dependency, and waste. He also shared how intelligent printing solutions can improve consistency, reduce errors, and help factories achieve higher efficiency and profitability.

Next, Md. Aslam Hossain, President of SPWA, addressed the forum, focusing on industry-wide challenges and opportunities. In his speech, he discussed the importance of skill development, compliance, and collaboration among stakeholders. He highlighted the need for associations, factory owners, and policymakers to work together to support the growth of the textile printing sector and ensure it remains competitive in the global market.

Yang Shanhui of Chaunghui Printing and Dyeing Machinery Co., Ltd. spoke on “Traditional Flatbed Screen Printing Developing Trends and New Vision”. He explained how traditional flatbed screen printing is evolving through technological innovation, improved machinery, and better process control. He emphasized that modernization of traditional methods can significantly enhance efficiency and quality, making them relevant even in today’s fast-changing market.

Later, Md. Monirul Alam, Executive Director of Dysin Group, shared his views on the recent market scenario of Bangladesh’s textile printing industry. He discussed buyer expectations, quality standards, and delivery timelines, emphasizing the need for strategic investment and operational excellence.

He also highlighted the importance of adapting to market changes and focusing on value-added services to sustain long-term growth.

Liu Jixiang, representing Shanghai Xiyan Digital Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a comprehensive presentation titled “Signstar Drives Your Business to Transform from Traditional to Digital”. She discussed the global shift toward digital printing and explained how digital solutions can offer flexibility, faster turnaround times, customization, and reduced waste. She encouraged Bangladeshi manufacturers to adopt digital transformation to stay aligned with global trends gradually.

Miss Panna from Hong Kong Allallinfo Media Group Limited conducted the Bangladesh Promotion Session for the 21st Guangzhou International Textile Clothing and Printing Industry Expo (ITCPE) 2026. She provided a detailed overview of the expo, which will be held on May 19–21, 2026, at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Expo, China. She highlighted the importance of ITCPE as a global platform for sourcing advanced textile, garment, and printing technologies. She also announced special facilities for Bangladeshi visitors, including airport transportation, four-star hotel accommodation, factory tours, and cultural tours to experience China’s rich heritage.

Amer Salim, Director of Knit Asia Group, attended the forum as the Special Guest. In his speech, he emphasized the significance of international exhibitions and technical forums in accelerating technology transfer and strengthening global partnerships. He encouraged Bangladeshi textile entrepreneurs to actively participate in international expos like ITCPE to gain exposure to the latest innovations and expand business networks.
