Bangladeshi graduates from Wuhan Textile University initiated WTUAAB

group-picsBangladeshi graduates from Wuhan Textile University (WTU) in China has started a formal organization to strengthen cooperation and networking between them. The Bangladeshi passed out students organized an Iftar Mahfil and get-together recently at Crossroad Restaurant and Lounge in Dhaka. A large number of alumni from WTU who are successfully working in different leading companies globally, doctoral degree in world leading universities & others professionals joined the Iftar. Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion Technology and Prof. Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Professor, Department of Textile Engineering, Daffodil International University were present as distinguished guest at the event. Speakers shared their experiences while they were in China. Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan thanked the alumni for organizing such an event and praised their performance while at WTU. Because of their good performance, the number of students from Bangladesh to WTU is increasing every year. He advised them to extend their support to the selected students going to WTU before their departure. Dr. Nabi wished WTUAAB will play a significant role for branding Bangladesh textile graduates worldwide. Dr. Md Saifur Rahman advised the alumni to remain united and cooperate with each other for their professional development. Alumni from WTU are occupying important positions in different segments of Bangladesh textile industry. To accelerate their bonding Wuhan Textile University Alumni Association of Bangladesh (WTUAAB) was formed with Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Syed Fakhrul Hassan and Prof. Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman as advisor. With the aim to promote strong cooperation among former and new students, to strengthen collaboration between WTU and Bangladesh and to expand their activity globally WTUAAB members pledged strong support in this endeavor.
