As per ITC (International Trade Center):
In 2022, 2023, and 2024, the United States imported $105.35 billion, $81.59 billion, and $83.71 billion worth of ready-made garments globally.

During the same period, Bangladesh exported USD $9.82 billion, USD $7.25 billion, and USD $7.40 billion worth of ready-made garments to the United States.
Bangladesh’s market share of ready-made garment imports into the USA was 9.33%, 8.89%, and 8.85% in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively.
This shows how the post-COVID effects, along with all other world crises, reshaped the market and economy. At the same time, it demonstrates Bangladesh’s ability to bounce back from crises by demonstrating its dedication to worker issues, safety, compliance, innovation, and diversification. As a result, the country continues to be a good choice for American brands, a trend we believe will continue in the days ahead as the US economy improves.
