Preparations are underway for Bangladesh Apparel and Textile Exhibition (BATEXPO) 2026, scheduled to take place in November 2026 in Dhaka, as Bangladesh’s apparel industry moves toward a new era of innovation, sustainability, technology and global business opportunities.
The Steering Committee of BATEXPO 2026 recently held a meeting to discuss key preparations for the much-anticipated mega event. The meeting was chaired by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan.
The meeting was attended by Mijanur Rahman, Vice President (Finance); Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director, BGMEA and Chief of Coordination; Nafis-Ud-Doula, Director, BGMEA; Ms. Sumaiya Islam, Director, BGMEA; Khan Monirul Alam (Shuvo), Chairman, Standing Committee on Branding; Sajedul Karim, Chairman, Standing Committee on Trade Fair & Events; and Masud Kabir, Chairman, Standing Committee on Press, Publication and Publicity.
BATEXPO 2026 is being positioned as the revival of Bangladesh’s flagship apparel exposition, redesigned to reflect the changing needs and capabilities of the country’s apparel and textile sector. The event is expected to bring together global buyers, industry leaders, policymakers, media professionals and influencers in Dhaka.
The expo will provide a platform to showcase Bangladesh’s manufacturing capabilities, technological advancements, sustainability initiatives and innovative solutions while creating opportunities for new business connections and global partnerships.
The event will feature a Global Apparel Expo, Dhaka Apparel Summit, Sustainable Leadership Award, Fashion Runway, Cultural Show, AI & Innovation Hub, Circularity Exposition and Green Factory Tour.
With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, circularity and technology, BATEXPO 2026 aims to present a renewed image of Bangladesh’s apparel industry to the global market.
