BAYLA roundtable discussion on “Road to Recovery” held

Desk Report: Bangladesh Apparel Youth Leaders Association (Bayla) has initiated a research program titled “Road to Recovery”, for which they also held an roundtable discussion on  26 October in the capital.

Faruque Hassan, President, BGMEA, Mohammad Hatem,Executive President, BKMEAMohammad Ali Khokon , President, BTMA.Rafez Alam Chowdhury , Advisor & Former President, BGAPMEA Md Sharif Zahir -,Managing Director, Ananta Group Dr. Eng. Md. Kamruzzaman ,Managing Director, Hohenstein Laboratories Bangladesh ltd; S. M Rashidul Islam -,General Secretary, Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) were as a speaker.

BAYLA President Abrar H Sayem said,  that they will publish a whitepaper on how to develop and strengthen the RMG industry.

After pandemic already  reopening of the economies of European countries and the USA has created a new opportunity for Bangladesh  says clothing exporters says on BAYLA roundtable .

Bangladeshi garment exporters have been receiving a lot of work orders  from buyers, said Faruque Hassan, President, BGMEA The demand for manmade fibre garment items has been increasing worldwide, so the local garment suppliers need to grab this opportunity of man made garment business worldwide, he added

“We need to reduce the unhealthy price completions among us for getting better prices from buyer said, Mohammad Ali Khokon, President of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA).

“Need to policy support from the government for attracting foreign direct investment in manufacturing woven garments as there is a room for investment, said, Mohammad Hatem, Executive President, BKMEA

“Apparel makers should now look for maximizing profit margins by adopting cost-effective measures said, Sharif Zahir, Managing Director of Ananta Group

Abdur Rahim Harmachi, business editor at News Bangla 24 moderated the discussion.
