BGAPMEA has launched a three-day intensive training program on Digital Customs Bond and Risk Management at its training institute in ECB Chattar, Dhaka.

The program was formally inaugurated by Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Executive President of BKMEA, who attended as Chief Guest. In his speech, Mr. Ehsan underscored the timeliness of such initiatives, noting that enhancing the skills of industry professionals is essential for strengthening Bangladesh’s RMG and backward linkage sectors. He also reaffirmed BKMEA’s readiness to extend collaboration in organizing and supporting similar capacity-building programs.
Commissioner of Customs Bond Commissionerate, Dhaka (South), Mr. Mohammad Hasmat Ali, joined the event as Guest of Honour, while Mr. Shahab Uddin Khan, President of the Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended as Special Guest. The inaugural session was presided over by Md. Shahriar, President of BGAPMEA.
A total of 41 officials from member factories of BKMEA, BGMEA and BGAPMEA are participating in this training, which is designed to strengthen knowledge and practices around digital customs management and effective risk assessment in the RMG and accessories sector.
