Desk Report: Meghna Bank Limited and Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) have signed an MoU for providing specialized trade services to Meghna Bank Buying house customers. The bank will provide specialized products and one stop services- tailor made for buying house customers under this MoU. An expert dedicated desk will be performing all the banking services for the buying house customers.
Mr. Sohail R K Hussain, MD & CEO of Meghna Bank Limited and Mr. Kazi Iftaquer Hossain, President of Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Among others, Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Head of Corporate Banking, Meghna Bank Limited, Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, Secretary General of BGBA along with other senior officials of the both organizations were also present.
Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) is a self-discipline, nonprofit and nationwide intermediary organization of Bangladesh Readymade Garment (RMG) sector with 1,392 members.
“Readymade garments contribute major stake of export earnings for the country. Buying houses act as the intermediary among factories & ultimate buyers; as such streamlining buying house banking services is a must do for us.
