Recently, the Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) met with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) for immigration support, customs clearance, and storage fabric for sampling.
In the meeting, the BGBA sought to have a booth at Dhaka Airport, so that all BGBA members and buyers could receive easy and friendly immigration support.
Air Commodore Sadikur Rahman Chowdhury GUP, ndc, psc, Chairman; Abu Saleh Md. Mohiuddin Khan, Member (Administration), and S M Lablur Rahman, Member (Finance) of Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority were present at the meeting. BGBA President Mohammad Mofazzal Hossain Pabel along with other members of BGBA were also present.
The Civil Aviation Authority has assured them that even though the space inside the airport is overbooked, they will review it positively.
Mohammad Mofazzal Hosen Pabel, President, BGBA said that they will try until they get all facilities to support all BGBA members and their customers.
