BGBA welcomes new leadership under Abdul Hamid Pintu 

The Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) welcomed its new leadership as Abdul Hamid Pintu commenced his tenure as president, alongside the elected board of directors for the 2026-28 term.

 The formal transition took place at the Uttara Club, where BGBA immediate president Mohmad Pabel, along with the ex Committee, passed on the responsibility to Pintu and his team.

At the handover ceremony, BGMEA former president Faruque Hassan, BGMEA VP Finance, Mijanur Rahman, Director Shah Rayeed Chowdhury were spoke at the event.

BGBA new president stated, new board focused on navigating unprecedented industry challenges, fostering sustainability, and aiming for $100 billion in garment exports by 2030. His speeches emphasize urgent policy support, energy stability, and strengthening the “Made in Bangladesh” brand.

He also that it looks forward to working with the newly elected leadership to further strengthen the association and advance the interests of Bangladesh’s garment buying house sector in both domestic and global markets.
