The Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BGCCI) had a highly productive meeting today with Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Commerce.
The discussion focused on deepening Bangladesh – German trade relations, promoting foreign direct investment (FDI), and improving the overall business environment. BGCCI shared insights from German investors and opportunities for new investment areas, market access, and areas where policy support can accelerate growth.
With LDC graduation ahead, BGCCI emphasized the need for predictable policies, smoother ease of doing business, and reforms to sustain competitiveness and attract investment. The delegation also highlighted BGCCI’s ongoing initiatives and upcoming program aligned with national priorities.
Both sides expressed a strong commitment to continued collaboration that supports Bangladesh’s economic growth and stronger Bangladesh – Germany partnership.
