The Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BGCCI) organized a Farewell Reception in Honor of His Excellency Mr. Achim TRÖSTER, the outgoing Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bangladesh on 14th June 2025 at 7:00 pm at Radisson Blu, Dhaka.
Opening Remarks by Mr. Md Farooque Khan, Vice President, BGCCI & Managing Director of Weber Power Solutions Ltd. as a Chairman of the event.
He said, His Excellency has served with distinction and dignity during his tenure in Bangladesh. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening the longstanding and cordial relations between Bangladesh and Germany.
BGCCI President, Mr. M. Maksud, gave the welcome address and thanked all the participants for attending despite their busy schedules. In his remarks, highlighted the ambassador’s instrumental role in deepening the longstanding bilateral relationship between Germany and Bangladesh.
His Excellency Mr. Achim TRÖSTER Ambassador expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Government and people of Bangladesh for their warm hospitality, dynamic partnership, and shared commitment to global challenges.
The event was attended by high-level government officials, members of the diplomatic community, business leaders, civil society representatives, who gathered to express their appreciation and bid farewell to Ambassador Tröster.
