The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Design in Bangladesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at showcasing the achievements, innovation, sustainability initiatives, and global leadership of Bangladesh’s ready-made garment sector through the Design in Bangladesh Week, scheduled to take place on March 30-31, 2026.

M. Shajedul Karim, Chair of the BGMEA Standing Committee on Trade Fair, and Rokaiya Ahmed Purna, Founder of Design in Bangladesh, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. The MoU signing ceremony was held at BGMEA Complex on December 14.
Design In Bangladesh Week 2026 (DIBW 26) is a flagship creative event that celebrates Bangladesh’s excellence in fashion, sustainability, culture, innovation, and design. The event brings together creatives, designers, investors, exporters, industry leaders, and key stakeholders under one platform to explore, connect, and collaborate. With a strong media presence, DIBW 26 aims to showcase the creative dimension of Bangladesh to both national and global audiences.
