BGMEA and Digital Bridge Partners have signed an MoU to collaborate on the introduction of a Digital Factory Passport — an innovative initiative aimed at strengthening ESG compliance, enhancing transparency, and boosting global competitiveness of Bangladesh’s RMG sector.

The Digital Factory Passport will serve as a unified digital tool to streamline factory-level data management and reporting, reduce audit fatigue, and improve efficiency in sustainability performance monitoring.
By offering a standardized and technology-driven approach, the initiative will help factories align with international buyers’ requirements and future-proof Bangladesh’s position as a global sourcing hub.
As part of the MoU, BGMEA and Digital Bridge Partners will jointly host a high-level Roundtable on October 9, 2025, bringing together industry leaders, buyers, and stakeholders to discuss the roadmap for implementing the Digital Factory Passport.
Following the Roundtable, both parties will take forward pilot implementation initiatives with selected factories.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahmud Hasan Khan, President of BGMEA, emphasized the importance of innovation and digital transformation in the sector’s sustainability journey. BGMEA Senior Vice President Inamul Khan – Bablu, Vice President Vidiya Amrit Khan and Directors also highlighted the potential of the Digital Factory Passport to position Bangladesh as a leader in responsible manufacturing.
Representatives from Digital Bridge Partners reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the industry in achieving greater efficiency and transparency through digital solutions.
