BGMEA and the German development agency GIZ have signed a MoU to strengthen and carry forward the activities of the Responsible Business Hub (RBH), a dedicated center promoting responsible business practices in Bangladesh’s RMG sector.
BGMEA with the support of GIZ set up the Responsible Business Hub — a center that helps garment factories understand and follow global standards on Human Rights & Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD).
Anwar Hossain, Administrator of BGMEA, and Michael Klode, project manager at GIZ, inked the MoU on behalf of their respective sides at a hotel in Dhaka yesterday.
The event featured a presentation by BGMEA showcasing the progress made by RBH and outlining its vision for the future.
