BGMEA will require one year to setup new building for its office. They are demanding one year time from the court to give them for relocation. BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman said, “We hope the court will allow us one year time considering the greater interest of RMG sector.” He also added that they have respect on the Supreme order and we are trying to rent a building to move BGMEA activities from that. We could not shift the offices as we haven’t find any suitable building to arrange working arrangement of 300 staffs.
Earlier High court set a time line to shift the BGMEA office within six months in March 2017. According to the order the deadline is to expire on 11th September 2017. BGMEA applier seeking one year time to court on 23rd August 2017.
