BGMEA Director Imranur Rahman appointed Director General of Asian Federation of Corporate Football (FAFCO)

Desk Report: Imranur Rahman, Director of BGMEA has been appointed as the Director General of the Asian Federation of Corporate Football (FAFCO). He was earlier the Vice President of FIFCO (International Federation of Corporate Football), and now he is the head of the Asian Corporate Football Federation.

“This is a very proud moment for me and my country,” said Md. Imranur Rahman, former Vice-President of Strategy. “Asia represents the fastest growing region in the world for football and for corporate football, in particular, I am delighted to accept this challenge,” he added.

Mr. Imran dreams that the next generation of our country stays away from drugs & rather plays the beautiful game of football. Reacting to the appointment he said, “I owe all my success to my father Mr. Siddiqur Rahman who has always supported my passion for football & every success of mine is due to all the prayers of my mother.

I must thank all the players & supporters of the BANDO football team who has helped me dream big. I must also thank the FAFCO for this honorable position. Last but not the least, my wife Samira Alam is my strength and always believed in my football. I hope to contribute towards the development of football in Bangladesh, he added.
