BGMEA election-centric platform Forum recently submitted their nomination papers for the upcoming election to Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

The BGMEA election for the tenure of 2025-27 is scheduled to be held on May 31, according to a statement.
Candidates last Thursday submitted their nomination papers individually for the election at the BGMEA office.
BGMEA Administrator Md Anwar Hossain welcomed the leaders and candidates of the two panels who came to the BGMEA office on the occasion of submission of nomination papers.
Panel leader and Managing Director of Rising Fashions, Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, submitted nomination papers on behalf of Forum.
During the submission, he was accompanied by former presidents of BGMEA Anisur Rahman Sinha, Anwar Ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez, Forum president MA Salam and chief election coordinator Faisal Samad.
Forum’s Shah Rayeed submits nomination paper for BGMEA polls
Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, director of Evince Group, has submitted his nomination paper for the election of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) from the Forum panel.
Voting for the country’s apex apparel body for the 2025–27 term is scheduled to be held on 31 May. A total of 1,864 voters will cast their votes this year, with 1,561 voters in Dhaka and 303 in the Chattogram region.
In the last election, the young entrepreneur Rayeed secured the highest number of votes from the Forum panel.

In the BGMEA election, three panels — the Forum and Sammilito Parishad — Oikko Parishad are contesting, according to a BGMEA statement.
In the Forum Panel new candidates Florence group Managing Director : Quamar Alam,Rozalin Islam, Director of Jamuna Group, Fahima Akhter, Director of Masco Group submitted their nomination papers.
