The wait is finally over! The BGMEA Football Cup is set to take place in December 2026, bringing together the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie across the apparel industry.The announcement came from a meeting of the BGMEA Sports Committee, held today at the BGMEA Complex.
The meeting was chaired by Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director-in-Charge of the BGMEA Sports Committee.
The meeting was attended by BGMEA Directors Nafis Ud Doula, Asef Kamal Pasha, and Sakeef Ahmed Salam, along with Sports Committee Chairman Md. Sajjad Ali Khan, Co-Chairman Akbor Haider Munna, Managing Director of Snowtex Group S. M. Khaled, former BGMEA Director Md. Imranur Rahman, Managing Director of Fakir Fashions Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid, Director of Epyllion Group Junaid Abu Saleh Musa, Director of Apparels Village Limited Mirza Faiyaz Hossain, and Deputy Managing Director of Mosharaf Group Omar Farooq.
The meeting discussed various aspects of organizing the BGMEA Football Cup successfully, including preparations and arrangements to make the tournament an exciting and memorable sporting event for the industry.
